The destination
Between Béziers and Montpellier, Pézenas is one of the most beautiful art and history towns in Occitanie. Its cobbled lanes, 17th-century mansions and Saturday market make it a destination unlike any other.
Molière started his career here between 1650 and 1656, under the protection of the Prince de Conti. Today, the town still feels alive: on Saturday morning the market spills into the squares, cafés fill with regulars, and in the evening people eat on the terrace.
And there's everything around: Sète 28 km away, the beaches of Agde at 18, Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert 45 minutes away. The Picpoul de Pinet and Faugères vineyards just off the road.
